Sekoly Kintana is currently managed (parrainé) by the Kintana Association in Madagascar. The school is supported through tuition; while teacher training, Montessori materials and staff development are supported by the Kintana Foundation and other partners.
Our Vision
Our vision is to establish a community school that integrates the latest research in teaching, learning, psychopedagogy, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and technological integration. We aspire for children to fall in love with their own minds, develop confidence in themselves, and cultivate mental strength to support their community.
Our school is a welcoming environment for all local children—including zanatany, expatriates, and children from diverse backgrounds. We celebrate Malagasy culture and history while building a globally minded community. Inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori methodologies, our primary language of instruction is Malagasy, complemented by French and English, creating a tri-lingual learning environment.
We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes:
